Hello, I'm Ellie.

On a mission trip to Arizona until Thursday. Anna will be looking after my blog until then<3

My friend, Julie, is getting baptized tomorrow! If you guys could pray for her that’d be great. She was saved about 6 months ago. She’s from Vietnam and her immediate family isn’t here in America. They aren’t believers either, so she’s been anxious lately. Thank you guys:)

Sometimes I forget how blessed I am that my parents are believers and 100% support my relationship with Christ. I thank God for this even though I’ve been taking this for granted lately. So many people have to keep their faith in a household that doesn’t support it. Praying for you who are in this situation and for your families<3

Hi guys. I’m sorry if this is poorly written, but I’ve been crying and I can’t think straight. I just wanted to make a quick post for my friend, Ben. I’d never met him, but he was friends with some of my friends and they often talked about him. He seemed like one of those people whom you would consider your friend even if you’d never talked, so I’ll call him mine. He died 3 days ago (Christmas Day) from a heart condition that he had his entire life. Ben was a great guy who spread God’s love like no other. He will never be forgotten. He made these two videos one week before he died telling his life story. All I am asking is that you watch them and pray for his family. They are having a rough time. The funeral is tomorrow. “Do you believe in angels or God? I do.” http://abcnews.go.com/US/texas-teen-ben-breedlove-posted-powerful-videos-christmas/story?id=15248385#.TvvjStQV19x

My friend’s dad died earlier today. Please keep their entire family in your prayers as their lives are really difficult right now.

Hey guys! I have a prayer request for ya’ll. So, at my school we have a new student from Vietnam. She’s really sweet and I love her to death already. She’s probably one of the nicest people you could ever mean. Not to mention her English is perfect! She came to America about a month ago to live with her uncle for now; her family is still in Vietnam. (It was a real privilege that her parents let her come here). She came to school after the first nine weeks was almost over and is really struggling to catch up on all the work we are doing. She also really misses her family right now. If you guys don’t mind praying for her, I would greatly appreciate it. She’s just very very overwhelmed. Imagine going to a country where everyone speaks a language you are unfamiliar with and trying to fit in without your family. Her English name is Julie. Thanks you guys. This means the world. It really does. -Ellie
